Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, art has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, when I lacked paint, I turned to clay; when I had no canvas, I painted on walls. Creativity was never a luxury but a necessity, a way to navigate reality, to transform it, and to share another way of seeing.

At the age of ten, I balanced studying at school and working as farmer and a fisherman. Far from discouraging me, these responsibilities deepened my relationship with art. Over time, my practice expanded across mediums, from pencil and oil painting to computer graphics and large-scale murals. What began as a survival instinct grew into a lifelong vocation.

I spent nearly four decades at Saudi Aramco, starting as a draftsman and eventually becoming Art Director in the Eastern Province. There, I explored design, digital illustration, and 3D graphics, while also pioneering a role as a live graphical recording artist, translating complex discussions into images during conferences and international events. Alongside this professional journey, I continued to create murals and paintings that spoke to memory, community, and place.

My work has been featured in galleries, workshops, and public spaces, from abandoned buildings transformed into vibrant canvases to publications such as The Arabian Sun. Even after retirement, I continue to be invited back as a guest artist. Today, living between London and Saudi, I spend my time painting portraits, oils, and murals, carrying forward the same passion that first guided me as a child, offering not just images, but ways of seeing.
